Holly Dowling has lived in Florida since 1982 and spent most of her school-aged years in the Tampa area. She has been working in education since 1997, she received a B.A. degree from USF in Elementary Education, and holds her Florida Reading Certification for students k-12.

 

Holly's teaching experience with different age groups is vast. She spent several years teaching 5th grade in Pasco, Palm Beach, and Martin counties. Then, Holly spent 6 years teaching kindergarten where she honed in on the foundations of reading and how to help students build those strong foundations to be successful.  Currently, Holly teaches intensive reading at Murray Middle School where her knowledge of fundamental reading skills is an asset to her struggling students.  She strives to identify and close their individual learning gaps, resulting in successful readers.
